Web conferencing may be used as an umbrella term for various types of online collaborative services including web seminars ("webinars"), webcasts, and peer-level web meetings. It may also be used in a more narrow sense to refer only to the peer-level web meeting context, in an attempt to disambiguate it from the other types of collaborative sessions.[1] Terminology related to these technologies is inexact, and no generally agreed upon source or standards organization exists to provide an established usage reference.

Excellence-Gold-Award-Seals-N5901_XLTHE AWARD

The CCA Award for Excellence  recognises  individuals, teams or organisations who:

• have introduced innovation and creative advances in processes, products, marketing or market support; or

•strive for  excellence and have made a long-term contribution to the industry.

1: Entries may comprise any process, marketing, market support, product innovation, outstanding and long-term contribution to the industry.

2: Any number of entries may be submitted or sponsored by a member.

3: The Association, at its entire discretion, may withhold the award.

4: Any and all financial members of the CCA may enter or sponsor an entry.

5: The decision of the judging panel will be final and correspondence relating thereto will not necessarily be entered into.

The entries should describe fully why the nomination should be awarded the CCA Award for Excellence.

ybuisness-innovationThe CCA Industry Improvement Award is essentially a thank you to our members for their continued support. In a nutshell, CCA provides sponsorship for a member to attend work experience at another cemetery or crematoria in NSW (or Australia) and also to attend a CCA Quarterly Conference.

The benefits of nominating for the award are exceptional. The person chosen to be the recipient of the sponsorship receives opportunities that may not have been presented to them before.

The recipient will be able to spend five days at another cemetery or crematoria provider (within NSW or Australia) learning the way in which that facility operates and functions. They will have an opportunity to learn or enhance their own skills as well as being able to pass on their knowledge and ideas to others. This facility/ organisation
will be chosen by the CCA Executive Committee and will be one that complements the knowledge of the recipient.

The recipient will also have the chance to attend a CCA Quarterly Conference. This will allow the recipient to hear first hand the issues being dealt with by the industry and provide them with the opportunity to network and build new friendships and relationships, as well as pick up many new ideas.

What costs are covered by CCA?
Work Experience: CCA will cover all reasonable transport costs and, if require, book and pay for any airfares. We will book and pay for your accommodation (room and breakfast only). Incidentals will be the responsibility of the recipient. We will also pay for reasonable expenses associated with lunch and dinner. Receipts for all expense claims must be submitted to the CCA Secretariat for reimbursement. CCA Quarterly Conference: CCA will cover all reasonable transport costs and, if require, book and pay for any airfares. We will book and pay for your accommodation (room and breakfast only). Incidentals will be the responsibility of the recipient. The recipient will be provided with a free Quarterly Conference registration. Receipts for all expense claims must be submitted to the CCA Secretariat for reimbursement.
